  • Great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of UWA’s People & Culture (P&C) processes to move into a Business Analyst role.
  • Full-time Level 7 FTE appointment on fixed term basis to 28.2.2025.
  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals.  UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

Robust, flexible, integrated and agile enterprise architecture, information and technology services are vital to enabling the university strategic objectives.

About the opportunity

  • You will work independently and coordinate the delivery of business analysis requirements.
  • Process re-design and improvements to enable the successful delivery and maintenance of Information and Technology services.
  • Responsible for establishing the testing strategies and plans for all solutions and services.

About you 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a business discipline or equivalent competency
  • Experience in leveraging technology to improve business processes within the P&C domain, including identifying process improvement opportunities, translating them into business requirements, and testing solutions to ensure they meet these requirements and enhance the processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder influencing skills and strong numeracy skills.
  • Experience documenting business requirements for system changes and testing resultant solutions to ensure those requirements have been delivered.
  • Business process mapping experience would be advantageous.
