Digital Learning Strategist

  • Full-time (1 FTE) fixed term contract (January 2025 to January 2026).
  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Digital Development and Enhancement team enables innovation and excellence in teaching and learning across UWA that leads to an improved learning experience and better educational outcomes. The unit supports the implementation of the University’s Digital Education strategy, through the provision of hands-on support to academic staff, facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practice, harnessing pedagogical expertise and working closely with academic leaders to drive a consistent strategy of educational enhancement.

About the opportunity

  • This role will design and develop engaging, best practice informed online learning content for the Employability and Experiential Learning programs.
  • Your role will contribute to curriculum development and review to support implementation of innovative course and unit content.
  • You will become and liaise with multimedia specialists to ensure valuable design and delivery of artefacts.
  • Your role will collaborate across teams to enhance service delivery and streamline workflows.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an educational field or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant experience in digital and online educational design at an appropriate level.
  • Knowledge and experience in the integration and evaluation of curricula to facilitate and develop appropriate, effective, and innovative learning solutions within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Proficiency in a range of computer skills, including graphics and video production software.
