- Base salary range: $129,497 – $137,029 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models. Robust, flexible, integrated and agile enterprise architecture, information and technology services are vital to enabling the university strategic objectives.
About the opportunity
- Lead the management of evolving Finance and HR platforms.
- Recruit, shape and guide a skilled team, to ensure systems are secure, high-performing, and integrated across the institution.
- Deliver solutions that add value and reduce risk, while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
- Strong experience coaching and mentoring staff, fostering team development, and addressing performance or engagement challenges.
- Experience running effective agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) and tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps) to ensure the team stays focused and aligned.
- Experience leading technology and process changes, ensuring clear communication of goals, alignment of stakeholders, and effective adoption of new ways of working.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, ensuring vendors deliver value and performance is monitored to address issues proactively.
Experience with Oracle based systems including Peoplesoft Financials and/or Dayforce aPay is desirable.
