  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Towards 2029 and Beyond (Danjoo Koorliny) is a visionary, long-term Aboriginal-led systems change project (the Danjoo Koorliny Initiative).  Individuals and organisations in Western Australia are coming together across sectors, disciplines, locations and cultures seeking guidance and leadership from Danjoo Koorliny Initiative, to co-create a better future for Western Australia and everyone and everything that now calls it home. 

UWA is the host organisation of the Danjoo Koorliny Initiative. Since 2019 the Centre for Social Impact at UWA (CSI UWA) has provided the operational support to enable UWA to host the Danjoo Koorliny Initiative. 

The Director of CSI UWA, together with other members of the CSI UWA management team, work closely with the Co-Directors.

About the opportunity

  • Oversee all aspects of the grant process, from applications and approvals to reporting, ensuring compliance with financial policies and grant conditions.
  • Monitor budgets, prepare financial reports, and support project delivery aligned with timelines and strategic goals, while ensuring accurate documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including funding bodies, to maximize future funding opportunities and ensure the successful management of funded projects.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant experience in grants coordination, financial administration, and project coordination at an appropriate level.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and work productively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems for financial management and reporting.
