Project Lead, Employee Entitlements Remediation Program

  • Base salary range: $129,497 – $137,029 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The People and Culture Directorate enables the University to implement and deliver its People & Culture Strategy to make the University a remarkable place to work. The Employee Entitlement Remediation Program (EERP) was established in early 2024 to address any known or suspected misinterpretation and/or non-compliance in employee entitlement payments across the University. The program seeks to ensure proactive measures are taken to remediate any identified historical discrepancies, as well as ensuring appropriate controls are in place to ensure future application of employee entitlements are undertaken compliantly across the University.

About the opportunity

  • Lead the execution of designated projects within the program aimed at identifying, reviewing, remediating, and preventing issues with employee entitlements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time, within budget, and maintain compliance.
  • Foster a positive work environment.

About you

  • Relevant post graduate qualification in employee relations, governance, compliance, or human resources, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive relevant experience in managing complex projects in employee relations, employee remediation and/or HR related fields of work.
  • Extensive experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects to successful project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant. Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
