The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia
- Join the finance team at the Dental Hospital (Oral Health Centre of WA) and UWA School of Dentistry, experiencing both clinical services and higher education.
- Work in a collaborative health environment supporting education, research, and clinical services in Nedlands.
- Full-time, 12-month fixed-term appointment.
- Base salary range: $91,833 – $97,052 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) is the state’s primary institution for oral health education, research, and specialist care. OHCWA operates as a collaborative centre involving the University of Western Australia’s School of Dentistry, Curtin University, , and the WA Department of Health. The Centre treats approximately 14,000 patients annually and delivers several clinical and technical training programs.
About the opportunity
- Develop budgets and financial reports for Clinical Service Delivery Operations and the Dental School.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, invoicing, account reconciliations, and expenditure, and provide input and recommendation to policies.
- Provide financial advice and resolve complex financial queries.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency.
- Full professional membership of a recognised Australian accounting body. (preferred but not essential)
- Proven ability to prepare full annual financial statements from trial balance.
- Substantial administrative and accounting experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
