About the area
Campus Management plans, designs, develops, and manages the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research, and campus life. The team oversees strategic planning, property management, facilities operations, major projects, sustainability initiatives, landscape management, security, and transport. The Maintenance and Services team ensures the effective operational delivery of these services
About the opportunity
- Lead the development of a facility management framework and operational strategies across UWA campus facilities.
- Coordinate facility services, including managing UWA’s cleaning and Campus Service Officer teams, ensuring facilities are safe and fit for purpose.
- Manage and develop service level agreements for UWA affiliates such as UWA Sport, UWA Theatres, the Forrest Hall Research Foundation, and University Hall.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency with substantial experience in facility and asset management.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Asset and Facilities Management, particularly PAS55 or ISO55000.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, operational frameworks, and strategic planning.
Proficiency in CMMS applications (e.g., Maximo) and knowledge of Australian Standards, BCA, and regulatory codes.
Special Requirements
- Current ‘C’ Class driver’s licence.
