  • Base salary range: $129,497– $137,029 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise is responsible for:

  • Strategic leadership and oversight of innovation in education with a particular focus on digital uplift across the full student lifecycle in both curricula and co-curricular areas, as well as consolidating the multiple initiatives with respect to work-integrated learning at curricula and co-curricular levels to develop an overall strategy for employability, and broader forms of experiential learning;
  • Leading the development of innovations in partnerships with third party organisations and industry, and advances UWA’s short course and micro-credentials within the UWA Plus framework.

About the opportunity

You will, play a key role in supporting the implementation of the capital projects which support digital transformation, employability and innovation to achieve the strategic priorities of the Education portfolio; enhancing the student experience and student enrolment growth.

  • Work in partnership with relevant UWA areas, including Academic stakeholders and University IT, to develop and implement effective and efficient policy, process and systems to increase student revenue and enhance the student experience.
  • Specific focus will be on the digital transformation projects and supporting the implementation of systems, process and policy to enhance online offerings for short courses and micro credentials.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise of contemporary business performance practice and procedures.
  • Substantial knowledge and expertise in project management and continuous improvement methodology e.g. Agile, Lean.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement frameworks, processes and programs.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams, motivate and influence others to achieve goals and provide high quality service.
  • Proven experience delivering improvements across policy, process and systems.
