- Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 8 months with a possibility of a contract extension.
- Base salary range: $80,243 – $88,940 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Immunology and Transplantation Laboratory conducts research to gather insights necessary to improving long term outcomes of solid organ transplantation. The team is involved in the development and use of pre-clinical mouse models of solid organ transplantation to study the post-transplant immune response.
About the opportunity
- Assist in conducting solid organ transplants and tissue and blood sampling.
- Assist in monitoring animal welfare.
- Submit required reports and assist with maintaining administrative compliance with ethics approvals.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a BSc (Hons), in biomedical science or related fields.
- Relevant experience working with animals, preferably mice, in a research setting.
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with GraphPad Prism is desirable.
