About the area
UWA is launching programmes in Nursing and Midwifery in close collaboration with key industry stakeholders. The University will offer an innovative and flexible programme of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required in a changing and challenging health care environment.
The new programmes of Nursing and Midwifery at UWA will attract essential talent to the State and contribute to the growth of a work ready health workforce tailored to the health needs of WA, including urban, regional, rural, and remote populations.
About the opportunity
- This position undertakes independent teaching in Nursing making a significant contribution at the local and national level.
- Teaching and teaching‐related duties involving the creation, delivery and continuous quality improvement of university‐level education
- Make a contribution to high‐quality university, professional and community service.
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications and professional practice appropriate to their discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
- Demonstrable experience of participation in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Check, and “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
