The Office of the Vice-Chancellor comprises a small professional team supporting the Vice-Chancellor's responsibilities as the Chief Executive of a top 100 global university. The University employs approximately 3,500 staff and has an annual turnover of close to $1 billion.
About the opportunity
- Lead government relations strategy and engagement for UWA
- Provide high-level advice and analysis on government policy and sector trends
- Foster and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders to enhance UWA’s visibility and advocacy efforts

- Proven expertise in government relations, policy development, or public affairs
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-level advice and briefing materials
- Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
