- Base salary range: $112,114 – $122,544 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
People & Culture plays a crucial role in supporting the University’s strategic objectives by fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. The Employee Relations team provides expert advice and solutions to ensure compliance with industrial instruments and employment legislation while fostering positive workplace relationships.
About the opportunity
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including workplace disputes and policy interpretation.
- Support the resolution of complex workplace issues and guide management through best practices.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies to enhance workplace culture and engagement.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations practices, and workplace policies.
- Experience in employee relations consultancy, dispute resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings and reports on complex matters.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Special Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
