- Base salary range: $80,243 – $88,940 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) oversees the University’s alumni, philanthropic and community strategies. The function works collaboratively across the University to embed philanthropic and engagement activity into the University’s operations. The core responsibility of the team is to lead and build on the University’s alumni, donor and community relations to advance the University’s goals.
About the opportunity
- Support the cultivation and stewardship of philanthropic relationships with donors to advance the student experience and research efforts.
- Assist in managing a portfolio of donors and prospective donors, ensuring effective engagement and retention strategies are implemented.
- Contribute to planning, executing, and evaluating fundraising activities that align with the University’s priorities and promote a culture of philanthropy.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant experience in project coordination or administration within a complex organisation, preferably within a Development and Alumni Relations context.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reports and correspondence for diverse audiences.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
