  • Lead the operation of UWA’s Exercise and Performance Centre (EPC), delivering industry-accredited student experiences.
  • Engage directly with community health partners to foster clinical training and research opportunities.
  • Full-time, ongoing appointment with part-time options considered.
  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area
The School of Human Sciences is one of the largest schools at UWA, delivering high-quality education and research across the fields of Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, and Sports Science. The Exercise and Sports Science Centre supports clinical education for Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology students, ensuring strong industry alignment and community impact through the UWA Exercise and Performance Centre (EPC).

About the opportunity

  • Manage a dynamic clinical education facility providing accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences.
  • Play a critical role in student skill development, readiness, and professional accreditation.
  • Build and maintain strong industry and community partnerships to support client services and student learning.

About you

  • Qualified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with extensive industry and clinical education experience.
  • Skilled in managing clinical facilities, supervising staff, and maintaining high compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated success in vocational education design, delivery, and student clinical skill development.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, community relationship management, and industry network building.
  • Excellent organisational, risk management, and reporting skills, with proficiency in digital placement management tools.

Special Requirements

  • Current accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as both an Exercise Scientist and Exercise Physiologist.
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and Mental Health First Aid certification.
