- Base salary range: $167,408 – $172,584 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Campus Management is responsible for planning, designing, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research, and campus life. The team delivers a wide range of services including strategic planning, facilities operations, sustainability, security, and infrastructure development. The Maintenance & Operations division ensures that the built environment remains functional, compliant, and aligned with the University’s Strategic Asset Management Plan and Campus Master Plan.
About the opportunity
- Lead the delivery of integrated maintenance and operations services across the University, including lifecycle asset management, security, grounds, parking, and fleet operations.
- Drive performance, safety, and compliance while managing high-volume service contracts and co-sourced providers across a complex, multi-site campus.
- Collaborate across Campus Management to ensure alignment with strategic planning, sustainability goals, and evolving service delivery needs.
About you
- Extensive experience in leading complex maintenance and operations services, preferably in a large institutional or campus setting.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, infrastructure services, compliance frameworks, and sustainability practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, multidisciplinary service contracts and contractor performance.
- High-level planning, budgeting, and risk management capability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and lead diverse teams and stakeholders.
Special Requirements
- Availability for after-hours callout roster.
- Participation in UWA’s Critical Incident Management Team if required.
