  • Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 3 years.
  • Base salary range: Level B, $113,934 – $134,824 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • Provide statistical expertise to support innovative research in health, medicine, and public health.
  • Design and analyse data from complex research studies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to high-impact publication
  • Communicate statistical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About you

  • A PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, particularly in health-related research or epidemiology.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical software packages (definitely R and SAS).
  • Solid understanding of statistical methodologies, including linear and nonlinear regression, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and multivariate analysis.
  • Experience in writing and publishing scientific papers, with a strong ability to interpret and present complex statistical results.
