About the opportunity
Casual academic employees are integral to the teaching and support activities of The University of Western Australia. Our casuals are engaged in various casual activities, including lecturing, tutoring and marking.
The position offered is negotiated between the casual academic employee and their supervisors and will be determined by the duties specified in their casual contract.
To be considered for a casual academic position, you must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- Formal tertiary qualification(s)
- Relevant academic experience in the discipline area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
Your EOI will be retained on our academic casual register and should an opportunity arise matching your skills and experience, you will be contacted by the relevant work area.
