  • Based at QEII Medical Centre, work closely with staff from the Dental School, Oral Heath Centre WA and Biomedical Sciences, supporting clinical and academic operations.
  • Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $95,231– $100,643 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity

  • Provide senior-level administrative support to the School of Dentistry, and School of Biomedical Sciences, operating under limited direction to ensure smooth day-to-day functions.
  • Take a lead role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing office systems, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Use professional expertise to recommend and implement new office policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement across administrative processes.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
  • Experience working in a University environment or similar large organisation.
  • commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
  • Acts as a champion for change, promoting innovation and engaging positively with the team to drive continuous improvement.
