  • Base salary range: $134,288 – $142,099 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area           

Campus Management is responsible for planning, designing, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a range of University-wide services including strategic planning, property management, facilities operations, major projects and developments, sustainability, landscape, security and transport.  Within EPDG the role shares accountability for executing the University’s Capital Projects strategy, including campus infrastructure services and ensures compliance with Capital Projects standards, policies and the University’s Campus Plan. 

About the opportunity

  • You will have a significant role as the University’s strategic lead and custodian on the development and management of the University’s engineered estate, contributing to the overall strategic asset planning and objectives intended to meet the University’s strategic goals and operational priorities.
  • You will have responsibility for the current and future supply of quality electrical and mechanical services, ensuring they are planned and delivered in a timely and economical manner that mitigates business risk, complies with all relevant legislation and meets industry best practice.

About you

  • Professionally qualified engineer or eligibility for Membership of the Institute of Engineers.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of engineering infrastructure planning and implementation of projects in a city or on a large campus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation.
  • Experience in negotiations with Statutory Authorities and Service Providers.
  • Experience in a tertiary education or similar environment (desirable).

  • A Current National Police Clearance is required
  • Some after work hours work may be required in the case of critical incidents
  • High Voltage Switching Ticket (Desirable)
