The Department of Social Work and Social Policy is located in the School and delivers a postgraduate Master of Social Work and an undergraduate Bachelor of Social Work, this along with Higher Degree by Research options and Graduate Certificates and micro credentials.
About the opportunity
- Lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the Field Education program
- Contribute to teaching, research, and academic leadership within the Department and School, and play a key role in integrating practice-based learning
- Establish the programs professional standing as well as building robust links with industry partners, the professional community and other academic units
About you
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent higher qualification
- Extensive social work practice experience, including field education leadership.
- Proven ability to lead academic programs and manage teams.
- Strong networks within the health and human services sectors.
- Experience in supervising social work students and staff.
