  • Collaborate with senior clinicians to ensure the MD Program has a demonstrable outstanding experience and is delivered with the highest educational quality.
  • Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for three months.
  • Base salary range: $134,288 – $142,099 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School is the largest and longest established medical school in Western Australia. It delivers a 4-year post-graduate MD course to local, national and international students. This program is accredited by the Australian Medical Council as well as international medical accreditation organisations. The School also has substantial and successful research programs across most disciplines in the medical sector.

About the opportunity

  • Coordinate accreditation processes for the Doctor of Medicine program, , ensuring compliance with national and global accrediting bodies (e.g., ECFMG, SMC, Medical Council of Hong Kong).
  • Develop and manage documentation, data analysis, and reporting to meet accreditation standards, including AMC requirements, curriculum governance, and clinical placement oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships, ensure policy compliance, and support high-quality accreditation submissions.

About you

  • Relevant Postgraduate qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive experience with higher education accreditation and/or external accreditation in health or medical fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high-level consultation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete projects and meet deadlines.
