Management and Organisations in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, as well as research-based doctoral degrees. About the opportunity
- Deliver and coordinate high-quality teaching in Business Ethics, Responsible Management, and related disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; develop curricula and assessments; supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD students; and support student recruitment and engagement.
- Undertake high-impact research in responsible management; publish in leading journals; secure research funding; build collaborative research networks locally and internationally; and contribute to the School’s research profile and reputation.
- Contribute to School and University governance, leadership, and strategic initiatives; engage with industry, government, and community stakeholders; actively participate in professional associations; and support inclusion, diversity, and social impact objectives.
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the Management and Organisations discipline (with specific reference to Business Ethics and Responsible Management practices).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
- Experience in the mentoring of junior colleagues, demonstrators and tutors, where relevant.
- A demonstrable track record in excellence in research at a national level evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals.
- A demonstrable emerging track record of successful competitive funding application.
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.
