  • Base salary range: $129,497 – $137,029 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

Campus Management is responsible for planning, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a comprehensive range of University-wide services.

The University is seeking to appoint a Development Manager to oversee the development of some of its non-core land assets. The Development Manager will play a key role in leading the delivery of key property strategies for these assets, having oversight of the external capability brought in to support this process.

About the opportunity

  • Oversee external advisory teams engaged to support the master planning for the Nedlands and Park Avenue sites.
  • Manage the portfolio within an allocated budget and deliver to a set of agreed University strategic objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate land asset development, ensuring that the University’s strategic project objectives are met.

About you

  • Relevant post graduate qualification in Project Management, Property Development, Urban Planning or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive experience in project management and delivery, preferably within the property development or public planning sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of the property sector and local real estate markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Western Australian Planning Regime and Leasehold system, along with a demonstrated understanding of the Public Sector processes as it relates to procurement, probity, and funding.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage internal and external teams and projects.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant.
