The Student Accommodation and Community directorate of The University of Western Australia (UWA) sits within the Operations Portfolio, which is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations). Within Student Accommodation and Community resides several diverse and equally essential areas that work to provide a meaningful and sustainable student experience across the life cycle of UWA’s student community.
University Hall (UniHall) is the residential college of UWA and home to over 750 students and staff. It is located opposite UWA, the Swan River and Kings Park. About the opportunity
- You will provide assistance in strategic marketing and communication initiatives such of career expos and open days
- You will drive the delivery of student engagement using various internal communication tools.
- The role also involves, providing support for non-resident events (camps, conferences and school tours) at University Hall.
About you
- Considerable relevant marketing and events experience at an appropriate level.
- Year 12 or equivalent competency. Further study in marketing or communication desirable.
- Experience developing digital content and achieving customer engagement through social media platforms.
- Experience designing and delivering marketing collateral, including websites, brochures, and digital assets.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Note:
A current “C” class driver’s licence.
Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one.
Ability to undertake physical tasks such as packing and unpacking materials.
Ability to work outside normal office hours.
