  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Campus Management at The University of Western Australia (UWA) oversees the planning, development, and management of the University’s campus and property portfolio. About the opportunity

  • Leading the operation, planning, and maintenance of irrigation systems across the University’s campuses.
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations on irrigation practices, system upgrades, and equipment.
  • Collaborating with contractors, stakeholders, and team members to achieve operational excellence and sustainability goals.

About you

  • Year 12 qualification and/or Certificate IV in Horticulture, or equivalent competency.
  • Proven experience in the horticultural industry with expertise in automated irrigation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation machinery, equipment maintenance, and operations of bores.
  • The ability to accurately interpret CAD drawings, manuals, and plans.
  • Exceptional team leadership and coordination skills, with experience supervising staff and contractors.

Special requirements

  • Current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence.
  • MR class licence (desirable).
  • Availability to respond to irrigation faults and emergencies outside standard hours.
