- Base salary range: $129,497– $137,029 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Resilient Landscapes Hub delivers research to inform the management of Australia’s terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, focusing on resilience, sustainability, and productivity. With a $47 million budget over six years, the Hub includes researchers from 11 universities, CSIRO, and state agencies, tackling issues such as bushfire recovery, feral animal impacts, and invasive species management.
About the opportunity
- Lead strategic communication efforts to enhance the impact of critical environmental research.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable management of Australia’s ecosystems.
- Manage innovative and targeted communication products to ensure research uptake and engagement.
About you
- Postgraduate qualification in environmental science, science communication, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in communication strategy, including planning, evaluation, and reporting.
- Proven ability to create effective communication products for diverse audiences and media.
- Strong organisational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in building networks and pitching stories across various platforms.
Special requirements
- Occasional travel and after-hours work.
- Current “C” class driver’s licence.
