  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

About the area
The People & Culture Payroll and Advisory Services team plays a central role in delivering seamless HR support across the University. Acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers, the team is responsible for triaging inquiries, providing policy guidance, and administering key HR transactions. We are committed to delivering high-quality service experiences, streamlining processes, and ensuring UWA staff are well supported throughout their employment journey.

About the opportunity

  • Act as the face of HR through phone and ServiceNow support, guiding staff through processes and answering general HR inquiries.
  • Process a wide range of employment transactions and documentation using systems such as aPay, PageUp, TRIM, and ServiceNow.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice on HR policies, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for staff and managers.

About you

  • You bring HR or business administration qualifications or equivalent experience and a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, phone-based environment and enjoy solving problems and helping others navigate complex HR matters.
  • You have strong attention to detail and experience using HR systems such as ServiceNow, PageUp, SAP, or similar.
  • You’re an empathetic communicator, able to support staff at all levels with clarity and professionalism.
  • You have a sound understanding of HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.

Special Requirements

  • A current National Police Clearance Certificate is required for this position.
