- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
- Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
This role is based within the Advanced Clinical and Translational Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory, Cardiovascular Science and Diabetes Group at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, UWA Centre for Medical Research. The Group is one of the world’s foremost research groups in the field of cardiovascular research and inflammation.
About the opportunity
- Providing help and support with various tasks in several ongoing projects.
- Conducting research activities related to our cardiovascular and obesity studies.
- Provide broad and valuable opportunity to develop skills and experiences in assessing heart disease and obesity risk within the Advanced Clinical and Translational Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory.
About you
- PhD in Biomedical Science or similar.
- Experience in tissue culture, real-time polymerase chain reaction, immunoassays, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and protein analysis methods.
- A track record of producing high quality research that has been published in internationally recognized journals.
