- Base salary range: $91,833– $97,052p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Education (PVCIE) leads UWA’s Indigenous Education Strategy across all areas of the University. It oversees the School of Indigenous Studies, the Berndt Museum, and the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, delivering multidisciplinary teaching, research, and specialised support for Indigenous students. The Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention (CBPATSISP), housed within the Poche Centre, works collaboratively with communities to promote culturally respectful, evidence-based suicide prevention practices.
About the opportunity
- Provide high-level administrative support to Centre staff, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate communications, reporting, and events across diverse internal and external partners.
- Maintain and improve office systems, websites, and social media to enhance Centre operations.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant senior administrative experience.
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, video conferencing and content management systems.
- Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
Special Requirements
- Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage will be required for the successful applicant prior to appointment.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required.
