The Department of Physics in the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computing is renowned for its award-winning researchers, teachers and facilities. The Department offers broad-based undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Theoretical Physics, Quantum Technology, Experimental Physics, and Astronomy & Astrophysics. The Department’s research strengths include gravitational waves, dark matter, quantum systems, quantum field theory, and medical physics.

About you

  • PhD degree in Physics.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience relevant to the Department's teaching.
  • Willingness to teach units in subjects across the whole physics curriculum.
  • Evidence of and a willingness to engage in curriculum design and management, to organise online and face to face teaching activities and co-ordinate teaching staff.
  • Ability to supervise honours and higher degree research students.
