About the area
The mission of the LRF Centre for Immunology and Breastfeeding is to promote child health through breastfeeding. We aim to develop a holistic understanding of how breastfeeding practices and human milk composition influence healthy immune development. This knowledge will empower healthcare providers and mothers with recommendations to improve child health worldwide.
About the opportunity
- Manages all day-to-day activities related to the research portfolio, including financial and grants management, research administration, communications, stakeholder engagement, and staff supervision, from inception through to implementation and closure.
- Works closely with the Team Leader to coordinate program activities across a wide range of projects within the LRF CIB team.
- Focuses on developing and maintaining a global centre of excellence through strategic project support and alignment.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. Postdoctoral degree in health/immunology field.
- Highly developed project planning, coordination, and management skills; ability to lead the development and implementation of multiple research projects.
- Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills including ability for strategic thinking.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement and uptake of research outcomes.
- Excellent level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
