• Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months with the possibility of renewal annually up to 3 years
• Base salary range: Level A, $83,499 – $112,371 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
• Dental Loading of $15,842 per annum
• Attraction/Retention (Dental Only) of $ $15,797 per annum

About the area

The UWA Dental School aims to achieve excellence in dental education, research and oral health care to the benefit of our local community and the advancement of dentistry globally.

The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) is a centre within The University of Western Australia.  The Centre is the primary focus for oral health education, research and specialist care delivery in Western Australia.  It treats over 15,000 patients a year and delivers a range of clinical and technical training programs. 

About the opportunity

• Provide oral and dental health care to OHCWA patients and for carrying out scholarly activity at the dental school
• Clinical care responsibilities will be undertaken at OHCWA clinics, either at Nedlands and/or Bunbury
• Clinical care responsibilities will be undertaken at OHCWA clinics, either at Nedlands and/or Bunbury

About you

• Dental qualification registrable with the Dental Board of Australia.
• Sound knowledge of Australian and WA regulations regarding health care services.
• High-level clinical skills across the range of dental disciplines.
• Demonstrated computer competency, including the capacity to maintain electronic patient records and clinical correspondence.
• Demonstrated commitment to and awareness of cross-cultural issues.

Note: A current “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
