About the area
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. Technical Services delivers discipline-specific expertise to support UWA’s teaching and research goals. The Cell Biology & Imaging Platform comprises core facilities across multiple sites, including cell and molecular biology, imaging, and histology facilities. These facilities provide essential resources, training, and services for research staff and students.
About the opportunity
- Provide technical expertise and support for practical activities and research within the UWA Protein Production & Structure Facility.
- Assist with the setup of experiments and maintenance of the equipment related to Protein Production & Structure analysis.
- Work within established safety systems and compliance frameworks.
About you
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent competency.
- Considerable relevant technical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and online systems.
Note: A current “C” class manual driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
