- Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 10 months.
- Base salary range: $77,205 – $82,011 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

UWA’s School of Molecular Sciences educates the leaders of tomorrow and generates translatable, practical solutions to key global problems in chemical sciences, molecular plant sciences, medicine and health, and future materials.
Research and education in the School, spans the fields of chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics, ’omics, nanotechnology, molecular materials, computation, synthetic biology and systems biology. About the opportunity
- You will provide support and assistance to researchers and undertake experiments and research activities associated with the Developmental functions of oxygen and redox cues in plants research project.
- Assist in implementing plant growth experiments and molecular analyses.
- Collect and prepare material for research experiments.
About you
- Relevant research experience at an appropriate level.
- Year 12 or equivalent competency.
- Competency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
- Well-developed organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Special Requirements:
- Occasional interstate or intrastate travel may be required.
- Occasional weekend or after-hours work.
