  • Part-time (0.1 FTE) appointment on a tenurable basis.
  • Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Discipline of General Practice provides high quality and innovative teaching to medical students throughout the course in collaboration with the wider medical profession and general practices.

About the opportunity

  • Lead small groups - teaching and assessments within the Year 1 Clinical skills/MD program.
  • Examining at later year OSCEs (Year 2-4) when these assessments occur on non-MD1 teaching weeks, during normal teaching hours

About you

  • Unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner in Western Australia.
  • Extensive experience in clinical practice within the last five years, with a broad general knowledge of history and examination of all body systems.
  • Substantial proven experience as a tutor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors. 
  • Effective organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
