  • Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Department of Pharmacy delivers a suite of postgraduate pharmacy programs, including the Doctor of Pharmacy (entry to practice) and Graduate Certificates in advanced pharmacy practice areas. The Department of Pharmacy operates through collaborative team effort to work with patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems to expand the pharmacy workforce and improve medicines optimisation through education and research.

About the opportunity

  • Contribute to world-class teaching in the programs of the Department of Pharmacy; undertake administrative duties as required (including online teaching).  
  • Join or develop a research team to initiate research in local, national and international arenas.
  • Undertake independent and collaborative research to generate research outputs of high impact.
  • Contribute to the governance and collegial life within the School, across the Faculty and University and more broadly outside the institution.

About you

  • Master’s degree in a Pharmacy qualification or above.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles. 
  • Demonstrated skills in teaching research methodologies.
  • Registered, or able to be registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Pharmacist in Australia.
