About the area
The Clinical Training & Evaluation Centre (CTEC) is a nationally recognised leader in simulated medical and surgical training. As part of the UWA Medical School’s Division of Surgery, CTEC delivers innovative, evidence‑based courses for medical professionals across all stages of their careers—including medical students, junior doctors, consultants, surgeons, nursing, paramedicine and allied health.
The Centre also undertakes research evaluating the effectiveness of training interventions, continually enhancing the quality and impact of its programs.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate and support the delivery of CTEC’s training programs while ensuring obligations to key partners and external stakeholders are met.
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies in line with university priorities, with a focus on CTEC courses
- Design and deliver marketing collateral for various channels, including social media, advertising, promotions, print, digital, PR and lead nurture and enquiry management.
- Build positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders while providing insight, analysis and reporting on CTEC’s marketing efforts
- Nurture Leads and manage enquiries efficiently to advance CTEC’s strategic priorities and support its course portfolio.
About you
- You bring experience in senior administration, social media strategy and execution, project coordination, or marketing roles, ideally within a complex or health‑related environment.
- You have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- You excel at planning, organisation, and managing competing deadlines while contributing to long‑term strategic direction.
- You are confident working independently, showing initiative, and providing leadership within a collaborative team setting.
- You are proficient across key digital tools and platforms, with the ability to create and manage marketing content, reporting, and documentation.
