• Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. (prorata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

• Undertake independent teaching in Clinical Dentistry, significantly contributing to the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) course at the UWA Dental School.
• Developing academic strategies and policies within the Dental School.
• mentor and supervise students and foster collaborative relationships with academic, industry, and professional stakeholders.

About you

• PhD in academic field such as Bachelor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine or equivalent qualification that permits general registration as a dental practitioner in Australia.
• Proven ability, dedication, and passion for engaging in scholarly activities that drive innovative pedagogical practices.
• Experience in teaching and learning within a tertiary education environment, including participation in team teaching within established programs and teaching in diverse settings.
• Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives.
• Developing a network of relationships with key academic, industry, and professional institutions, partners, and stakeholders.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate, Finance Check, Working with Children Check, and “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
