University IT is responsible for delivering secure, reliable and scalable digital services that support the University of Western Australia’s teaching, research and operational objectives. A robust, well-governed integration capability is critical to enabling a modern, connected digital ecosystem across enterprise platforms, cloud services and third-party systems.
About the opportunity
- Accountable for leading, managing and continuously improving UWA’s enterprise integration capability, establishing a sustainable, platform-based integration model that supports both project delivery and long-term operational needs.
- Provide strategic and people leadership for the integration function, ensuring services are reliable, secure and scalable, aligned with enterprise architecture, governance frameworks and business priorities, with a strong focus on service ownership, capability maturity, workforce development and cross functional collaboration.
- Partner closely with architects, product owners, project teams and operational stakeholders to prioritise demand, define standards and patterns, and deliver and support integration services as a core enterprise capability.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for integration platforms and services.
- Strong understanding of integration architectures, security, resilience and performance considerations across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Experience translating organisational strategy and business objectives into sustainable technology services and operating models.
- Sound knowledge of modern delivery and service management practices, including Agile, DevOps and ITIL aligned operations.
