- Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The University Library plays a vital role in enabling learning, teaching, and research at UWA. The Engagement & Experience section delivers frontline client services, information literacy programs, research and teaching support, student IT assistance, and ongoing development of library spaces and collections. The team is committed to delivering high-impact, student-centred experiences that support academic success and foster digital and information literacy skills essential for university study.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate the design and delivery of high quality reference services and information literacy skills development programs..
- Lead, support and develop a team of professional library staff.
- Contribute to policy, planning, service innovation and strategic library initiatives.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency; a qualification in library and information studies is desirable.
- Substantial relevant professional experience in a library environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly Developed organisational skills with demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in a range of relevant software applications including Microsoft Office products
