- Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on fixed term basis for 3 months (It is anticipated to be extended beyond this).

- Base salary range: $95,231 – $100,643 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Dementia Training Australia (DTA) is a national collaboration between five Australian universities and Dementia Australia, focused on translating contemporary evidence and best practice in dementia care into practical, high‑quality training for the aged‑care workforce. The UWA Hub, auspiced by the Western Australian Centre for Health and Ageing, strengthens the connection between research, education and industry practice, ensuring that dementia‑care expertise is delivered in ways that are accessible, workforce‑ready and aligned with national priorities. With strategic focus areas spanning Medication Management, Allied Health, First Responders and the volunteer workforce, the Hub plays a key role in shaping capability across diverse sectors supporting people living with dementia.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate multiple projects, events and training activities across the DTA UWA Hub, ensuring timelines, deliverables and documentation are maintained.
- Provide high‑level administrative, operational and stakeholder support, including finance, reporting, procurement and record management.
- Work closely with the Hub team and stakeholders to support the planning, development and delivery of DTA programs, resources, events and related initiatives
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency, with demonstrated experience in coordinating projects in complex environments.
- Substantial experience in administrative, project or event coordination, supported by strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and work independently while using initiative.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a multifunctional team environment and build effective working relationships.
Desirable
- Experience supporting the development or delivery of training or educational programs.
- Experience working with dementia care, dementia education, or dementia‑related programs.
Special Requirements

- Occasional interstate travel.
- Current “C” class driver’s licence.
- Provide own vehicle.
