  • Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • Contribute to delivering a seamless and high‑quality onboarding experience for new employees by coordinating contracts, pre‑employment requirements and induction activities.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, P&C Contracts and wider university departments to ensure accurate transactional processing and effective cross‑team collaboration.
  • Play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives by upholding operational excellence, improving processes and ensuring consistent, service‑focused support to staff and new hires.

About you 

  • You demonstrate strong HR or onboarding experience, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent capability.
  • You bring excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to build trust, provide accurate advice and create a positive experience for new hires.
  • You are highly organised, detail‑focused and confident managing high‑volume queries, documentation and system data entry within strict deadlines.
  • You work proactively and independently, using initiative to resolve queries, maintain confidentiality and provide quality customer service to stakeholders.
  • You are familiar with HRIS platforms (or capable of quickly learning them), and confident preparing reports, coordinating onboarding activities and ensuring compliance with university policies.
