Senior Audio Visual Lifecycle Coordinator

  • Be part of a dynamic, collaborative AV support team working with a variety of technologies.
  • Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $116,262 – $127,078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals.  UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

The redesign of the Infrastructure and Platform unit aims to deliver design and operational services through a portfolio comprised of a Network, Firewall, Systems and an End User Compute section.

About the opportunity

  • Maintain UWA’s AV standards and oversee the AV lifecycle replacement program.
  • Coordinate AV upgrades with stakeholders, integrating requirements and specialist AV expertise.
  • Ensure AV designs meet standards, providing direction or partnering with Solution Architects as needed.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Relevant Industry provided and recognised AV training and or accreditation.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to evaluate complex AV requirements, interpret standards, and provide high‑level technical and strategic advice.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive stakeholder relationships, managing competing priorities whilst always interacting professionally with clients and remaining fully customer focused in contexts requiring negotiation, influence, and collaboration across multiple organisational units.
  • Proficiency in a range of Audio-Visual technologies including video conferencing, bridging, AV control systems and AV switching & streaming with the capability to apply this expertise to guide complex project decisions and institutional lifecycle planning.
