- Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Office of Research provides professional and expert support services to facilitate research excellence and knowledge transfer at the University. It is also at the forefront in executing the University’s research strategy.
The Research Ethics and Integrity team in the Research Operations office is responsible for ensuring that the University upholds the highest ethical standards in conducting research that involves animals, human research, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
About the opportunity
- Provide operational support to the Human Research Ethics Committee as required.
- Coordinate administrative support for clinical trials to ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and University policy.
- Work under broad direction while ensuring processes meet regulatory and ethical requirements.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in human science or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Current certified training in Good Clinical Practice.
- Substantial and extensive relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level.
- Excellent knowledge and expertise in regulatory codes and legislation relating to the ethical conduct of research involving human participants.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, problem solve and work productively as part of a team.
