- Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 7 months.
- Base salary range: $116,262 – $127,078 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

The Population Health Research Network (PHRN) is Australia’s nationally coordinated data linkage infrastructure, enabling secure access to linked health and human services data for high‑impact research and policy. The PHRN Program Office is leading a major 2026–2036 strategic planning process involving nationwide engagement, cross‑jurisdictional collaboration and sector‑wide consultation.
About the opportunity
- Provide high‑level strategic planning support, shaping the development of the PHRN Strategic Plan 2026–2036 and advising the Chief Executive and external consultants.
- Lead coordination of national consultation activities, managing logistics, documentation, and integration of diverse perspectives into strategic planning outputs.
- Develop sophisticated briefing materials, analyses and draft plan components that inform organisational strategy and executive decision‑making.
About you
- You bring advanced analytical, conceptual and planning capability, with experience contributing to complex strategic or policy initiatives.
- You excel at synthesising diverse policy, stakeholder and environmental inputs into clear, practical strategic advice.
- You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders across government, research, industry and community sectors.
- You demonstrate strong organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multifaceted workstreams autonomously.
- You communicate with exceptional clarity, producing high‑quality strategic documents, reports and consultation materials.
