The Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Advancement, Diversity (PVC AAD) leads university-wide initiatives that strengthen academic advancement, diversity, equity and inclusion. The team collaborates across academic and professional portfolios to support improved academic processes, inclusive practice, good governance and a culture aligned with UWA’s values.
About the opportunity
- Provide high-level administrative and project support to the PVC AAD and related committees and working groups.
- Contribute to initiatives that advance academic career pathways and strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion across UWA.
- Work as part of a small, collaborative team supporting high-impact projects and stakeholder engagement across the University.
About you
- Strong administrative experience with the ability to coordinate meetings, prepare documentation and manage workflows.
- Knowledge and/or lived experience relevant to diversity, equity and inclusion, and a demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage tasks independently.
- Proficient in key software applications including Microsoft Office, web editing tools and online administrative systems.
