About the area
The Centre for English Language Teaching (UWA CELT) works to enhance recognition of UWA internationally by providing high quality intensive English language programs, International Study Tours, and allied services, including language testing services. It contributes to UWA’s priorities and operations through its expertise in the teaching, learning, and testing of the English language and through its international promotional activities. UWA CELT is a part of the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement) and has key a role in supporting and furthering the University’s international strategies.
About the opportunity
- Plan, coordinate and conduct all tasks that are part of the full admission process for students applying for enrolment.
- Provide advice and necessary documentation to students and educational agents throughout the process of application, offer, acceptance, enrolment and arrival.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government regulations and accreditation guidelines for the governing the issuing of all types of visas relevant to English language study.
About you
- Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant administrative and accounting experience preferably in a similar or related Industry.
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and productively as part of a team.
- Experience and proficiency in the use of University computer systems such as Callista, TRIM and People Soft is desirable.
