About the area
UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.
Connected Campus has now successfully completed its initial transformation phase and is transitioning into an ongoing operational function focused on Network Lifecycle Replacement. This team will be responsible for the continuous planning, delivery, and refresh of network infrastructure across the University, ensuring assets remain current, resilient, and aligned to teaching, research, and operational requirements.
About the opportunity
- Prepare and document complex functional and non-functional requirements for major network and IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Guide and implement a culture of service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, fostering teamwork and flexibility.
- Provide support for specialised teaching and research solutions and design and implement new systems in accordance with appropriate build guidelines and processes.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a business discipline or equivalent competency.
- Coordinates scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.
- Select and adopt appropriate requirement definition and management methods, tools and techniques.
- Contributes to the development of organisational methods and standards for requirements management.
- Experience in establishing testing strategies and plans.
