The Student Advisor role sits within Student Life, part of the University’s Education Portfolio. Student Life plays a central role in delivering a world‑class student experience by supporting students from enrolment through to graduation.
Within Student Life, the Student Offices team provides high‑quality student advisory and administrative services across the Colleges and Schools. The team supports student progression, connection to discipline areas, and the delivery of core student administration functions, working closely with academic staff and central service teams.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate and deliver a range of student administration and advisory services that support enrolment, progression and academic success.
- Respond to complex student enquiries with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement.
- Contribute to the development, improvement and ongoing maintenance of systems, processes and procedures that enable efficient service delivery.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar administrative or advisory role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and accurately.
- Well‑developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence using a range of computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and online systems.
