About the area
You will join the Strategy, Planning and Performance function within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, the University’s central hub for strategic analysis, institutional planning and performance monitoring. This area supports senior leaders and governance bodies through high‑quality data, analytics and reporting, enabling informed decision‑making across teaching, research, finance and operations.
About the opportunity
- Lead the University’s enterprise‑wide performance analytics function, delivering high‑quality data, dashboards and insights that inform executive, governance and regulatory decision‑making.
- Partner closely with senior leaders and planning teams to translate complex institutional, sector and market data into clear insights that support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring.
- Build and uplift analytics capability by setting standards for data governance, analytical methodologies and reporting, while leading and developing a high‑performing team of analytics professionals.
About you
- Proven experience leading enterprise‑level performance analytics, reporting or business intelligence functions
- Strong capability in data modelling, statistical analysis, forecasting, trend analysis and performance measurement
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting products and analytical methodologies that support executive and governance decision‑making
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly and influence senior stakeholders through evidence‑based advice
- Excellent people leadership, planning and organisational skills, with experience managing teams and competing priorities
